In 2010, Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange obtained the Official License Certificate from the Securities & Commodities Authority (SCA) to act as a Share Registrar for Private Shareholding Companies in the UAE. ADX offers Share Registrar Services (SRS) to facilitate shareholder dealings by issuing companies using ADX’ systems. This initiative was taken in early 2013 to cater to the growing need for more comprehensive and efficient Share Registrar Services in the Capital Market.

ADX Registrar has taken a competitive lead in the market for Share Registrar Services by providing a one-window solution to shareholders, backed by state-of-the-art IT infrastructure. Also, independent Legal and Internal Audit functions ensure statutory and regulatory compliance. Moreover, a Marketing and customer support services department includes a call center with a toll-free number and a dedicated and trained Investors support team facilitating Investors on a day-to-day basis.
